600X Solenoid Control Valve

1. Basic Overview

The 600X solenoid control valve, also known as electro-hydraulic pilot control valve, is a kind of ductile iron hydraulic operated valve equipped with a solenoid pilot valve. The main valve body is made of QT450 nodular cast iron, pressure class PN16, standard flange connection, widely applied in municipal water supply, fire protection systems, industrial circulating water and irrigation pipelines.

2. Working Principle

This valve relies on pipeline medium pressure to realize opening & closing, controlled by the small electromagnetic pilot valve. When the solenoid receives electric signal, it opens the bypass circuit of the main valve’s upper control chamber; the pressure inside the chamber drops rapidly, pushing the main valve disc open. Once power cuts off, the solenoid closes the bypass, medium refills the control chamber, and fluid pressure shuts the main valve tightly. The red manual needle valve on the top can adjust opening/closing speed to eliminate water hammer.
