LHS941X Regulating Valve is an electric piston-type dual-function regulating valve specially engineered for large-caliber water pipeline systems, integrating flow regulation, pressure stabilization, cavitation suppression and pipeline vibration reduction in one compact unit. Unlike conventional gate or butterfly valves only for full open/close cut-off, this model adopts an axial sliding piston core and crank-link transmission structure, enabling continuous linear adjustment of pipeline flow area to precisely control medium velocity and network pressure, making it a core control device for municipal water supply, hydropower stations and drainage projects.

Its core working mechanism relies on a cylindrical piston guided by built-in rails to slide horizontally along the pipeline central axis. Driven by an intelligent electric actuator, the crank-slider assembly pushes the piston forward or backward to change the overlapping flow clearance between the piston and cage-shaped flow guide sleeve. Real-time data collected by external pressure sensors and flow meters is transmitted to the supporting PLC control system, which automatically adjusts piston stroke to maintain preset flow and pressure values, realizing closed-loop automatic regulation without frequent manual intervention. The symmetrical streamlined valve body eliminates dead flow zones, greatly cutting fluid turbulence, noise and water hammer impact even under high differential pressure working conditions.

Structurally, the valve consists of a one-piece cast valve body, stainless steel piston assembly, multi-layer EPDM/NBR soft sealing rings, anti-abrasion guide rails, crank linkage and full intelligent electric actuator. Main body materials cover ductile iron QT450-10, carbon steel WCB and stainless steel 304 to match diverse medium corrosiveness. The inner and outer surfaces are coated with fusion-bonded epoxy powder over 250μm thick for long-term anti-rust and anti-scaling performance. The cage-type flow divider around the piston serves as an anti-cavitation buffer: it disperses high-speed jet fluid into multiple thin streams to lower local pressure difference, effectively preventing cavitation erosion that easily damages common regulating valves, with a cavitation coefficient controlled below 0.4 for stable operation under large pressure drops. The fully vulcanized soft seal on the piston ensures bubble-tight shutoff when fully closed, solving the leakage defect of metal hard-seat regulating valves.

This valve features prominent sediment resistance suitable for river water, raw water and lightly polluted sewage containing suspended particles. The smooth straight-through channel avoids sludge accumulation and piston jamming, reducing routine maintenance frequency drastically. Standard specifications range from DN50 to DN1400 with PN10, PN16 and PN25 pressure grades, adopting GB standard flanged connection compatible with mainstream domestic and European pipeline matching standards. The electric actuator supports local manual handwheel operation, remote signal control and DCS centralized linkage with water pumps and turbines, realizing synchronous pipeline operation management.

Widely deployed in urban municipal water distribution networks, reservoir water delivery tunnels, hydropower station inlet/outlet pipelines, sewage treatment plants and agricultural irrigation trunk lines, LHS941X solves common pain points of traditional regulating equipment: severe vibration, loud noise, short service life and poor precision. It stabilizes pipe network pressure to avoid burst pipe risks caused by water hammer, optimizes water supply balance and cuts energy consumption of pump units, delivering reliable, low-noise and long-lifetime fluid regulation for large-scale water conservancy and municipal infrastructure projects.
