1.Product Overview

The lever operated wafer butterfly valve is a lightweight,compact throttling and shut-off valve widely used for fluid pipeline control.It features a wafer thin body design that clamps between two pipe flanges without extra flange ends,paired with a manual lever handle for direct on-site operation.

This valve relies on a circular disc rotating 90°inside the valve body to open,close or regulate flow.The elastic seat creates bubble-tight sealing,and the simple wafer structure saves installation space,material cost and construction time.Manual lever operation allows quick switch between fully open and fully closed status,ideal for medium and low-pressure general industrial and water supply pipelines.

Wafer Compact Structure

5.Working Principle

Turn the manual lever to drive the valve stem and the butterfly disc fixed on the stem.

Lever at 0°position:Disc perpendicular to pipeline,fully closed,fluid cut off completely

Lever rotated 90°:Disc parallel to pipeline,fully open,maximum flow rate

Any angle between 0°–90°can be locked to adjust flow volume for throttling control
